We praise God for our new Church Administrator brother Daniel Tan.  Dan has an Intercultural Communications degree. He was a Youth and College Pastor for 12 years, and has worked in the corporate world at various supervisory and management positions for the last 10 years. Dan speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and several Chinese dialects. He started April 1 and reports to the Administration Elder. Please welcome him, his wife Tanya, and their two children, Titus and Leah, to the church.

Fellowship, Sat, Apr. 9 – Goodness is hosting the Peanuts movie in the church courtyard starting from 7pm with popcorn and hotdogs. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Marvel is hosting a potluck at Tumbleweed Park Blue Barn Pavilion from 5-8pm.

5th grade Parents: You’re invited to the Parent Coffee on Sun., Apr. 10th, 10:45-11:15am in room B205. Meet other parents and the Sunday School teaching team, have donuts & check out resources unique for your child. Please arrive promptly at 10:45am so we can make the most of our time. Children will be in the playground until 11:15am

Our Sister Gilbert Campus They just started nine new small groups, one being in English.  There is also an English Sunday School Class. We are looking for eight young families to help build their family ministry. Please pray for and support them.

Women’s Seminar with Cynthia Heald on Sat., May 14, 9:00am-12:30pm. Cynthia is well-known for her Gold Medallion winning devotional book: Becoming a Woman Who Walks with God (Abiding in Christ) and other books. The seminar’s theme is “Abiding in Christ.” Registration is $5 per person.

Advance 2016 interchurch college retreat May15-17. This year’s retreat will be at the Student Center in Tempe and will focus on advancing the gospel at your campus. The plenary speaker will be Ben Sanders from Campus Christian Center and workshops will be led by staff from InterVarsity, Navigators, and Cru. Cost is $40 to cover the cost of meals and includes a t-shirt.

Church Retreat – May 27-29.  Pastor Fred Tow is the English speaker on the topic of Encountering Christ. Registration starts next Sunday in the breezeway.

Vacation Bible School is June 19-23 evenings! Volunteer registration in breezeway.

Summer Youth Camp is June 29 – July 3. Registration for incoming 6th grade (Fall 2016) to graduating seniors is online at www.azyouthcamp.com. Early bird registration (until April 3) is $340. JH speakers are Paul Sun and Pastor James Park. HS speaker is Pastor James Lee.
